Refunds for Aureo are handled directly by the store you bought from — Apple, Google, or the Mac App Store. We have no power to issue them ourselves, but we're happy to help you get one.
1. App Store and Mac App Store
Apple processes all refunds for apps purchased through its stores. To request one:
- Visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Sign in with the Apple ID used for the purchase.
- Find the Aureo charge and tap Report a Problem.
Apple typically responds within 48 hours.
2. Google Play
Google processes all refunds for apps purchased through Google Play. The process depends on how recently you bought Aureo:
Within 2 hours of purchase
Open Google Play, tap your profile, choose Payments & subscriptions → Budget & history, find Aureo, and tap Refund. Refunds at this stage are usually instant.
After 2 hours
Visit play.google.com/store/account, open Order history, find Aureo, and choose Request a refund or Report a problem. Google reviews these case by case.
3. Direct purchases
Today, Aureo is sold only through Apple and Google. If we ever sell it directly, Quebec's Consumer Protection Act grants you a right to cancel a distance contract within set timeframes — including a right to cancel a distance contract for up to 7 days after receipt, and additional rights if the product was not delivered as described. We will honour those rights when they apply.

4. Goodwill refunds
If a store denies a refund for an honest mistake — switching tablets, accidentally bought twice, that kind of thing — email us and we'll send a supporting note to the store on your behalf. Most reviewers will reconsider when the developer vouches for the request.
5. Refunds that aren't actually refunds
If Aureo doesn't work the way the marketing page describes, please tell us before asking for a refund. Most "it doesn't work" reports turn out to be configuration issues we can fix in five minutes — and the setup guide covers the common ones. You can always still request a store refund afterwards.
